Proudly Supporting Ladybug Lodge, Me & Dee, and Tiny Tim’s: This Year’s Maddison Invitational Charities
James Maddison Dedicates 2025 Celebrity Golf Day to Ladybug Lodge, Me & Dee, and Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre
The 2025 Maddison Invitational will once again bring together stars from the worlds of sport, music, and entertainment — all in support of three inspiring charities: Ladybug Lodge, Me & Dee, and Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre.
This year's event, which will take place at the prestigious Centurion Golf Club in St Albans on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, aims to raise vital funds for children and families facing life-altering health challenges.
Each charity plays a unique and essential role:
Ladybug Lodge provides a peaceful retreat for seriously ill children and their families.
Me & Dee offers unforgettable experiences and respite for families going through tough times.
Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre delivers free therapy services to children with disabilities and developmental needs.
Now a highlight of the summer calendar, the Maddison Invitational has seen support from footballers such as Peter Crouch Harry Maguire, Mason Mount, Jamie Redknapp, and John Terry, as well as personalities like Tom Holland, Michael McIntyre, Tom Grennan, Mark Wright, and Olly Murs.
With another exciting lineup expected in 2025, the event promises a powerful blend of sport, generosity, and impact, all swinging to support children and families who need it most.

Ladybug Lodge has been founded by Josie Wheel. Josie's younger sister, Rosie, has PMLD and they have grown up in Coventry trying to make as much accessible as possible. As a family, their favourite thing to do together is play but there is very limited places they can go in the holidays which Rosie can fully access. Josie has enlisted a team of trustees - a mix of previous colleagues and SEN parents - to ensure we can make a place in Coventry in which SEN children have the opportunity to access accessible play with their families!

me&dee is a Derbyshire-based charity supporting children and families facing life-changing and uncertain futures due to complex, often terminal, health diagnoses. Founded in 2006 by Maria Hanson MBE following personal experiences of severe illness, we exist to help families create precious memories together – memories that last far beyond the time they may have left. Our approach is personal, wraparound, and continuous. Rather than providing one-off experiences, we focus on building lasting relationships that support families throughout their journey.

The object of the charity is to provide as many free treatments to all children who need them. The charity has continuously provided therapy free of charge to children with disabilities and special needs since 1997. Initially, the charity only provided remedial massage, neuromuscular massage and touch therapy, along with free play sessions in our Soft play area.
We have now extended our services to include, Bowen therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy. There has been a steady increase in demand for our services over the years. More recently to protect the charities future we had had to replace our free play sessions with a discount card for use in our Purple Planet soft play area.
